Thank you to the German Weightlifting Federation for your support of the initiative "GIVE EVERYTHING, TAKE NOTHING". During the Olympic qualification in weightlifting at the Olympic Training Center in Heidelberg prior to the Rio Games the athletes made a strong commitment to clean sport.
Dr. Christian Baumgartner - President of the German Weightlifting Federation explained: "This motto perfectrly reflects Germany's weightlifters attitude we take towards our sport. In a difficult international environment, we advocate sport without performance manipulations and fraud, for equal opportunities in fair competitions and for mutal respect, and the compliance to all the rules we have jointly laid down."
